Hotel software

The HORES PLUS system represents a flexible system for complex solution of accommodation business management, particularly for reception and consequent services. It is suitable for hotels of any size with variable clientele (individual, groups, local or foreign) and for various kinds of offered services. It can run on computers PC 386 or higher with operation memory 4MB (DOS version) and on PC Pentium or higher (Windows version). The software is implemented in MS FoxPro database system and runs under MS DOS (DOS version only), Windows 95 or 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT, networks Nowell, NT, XP etc.

All user data and user peripherals are set up as parameters and user can change setup individually. The product is protected by definition of access rights on several levels with user passwords. Data protection is automatic and manual.

HORES PLUS produces data for accounting, tax declarations, internal and external statistics and invoicing - these data could be transferred on-line via network or stored on a floppy disc. HORES PLUS communicates with cooperating subsystems (e.g. local telephone switchboard, electronic locks of hotel rooms, parking gates, information TV systems and of course - restaurant cashiers). It allows improvement of hotel management and control with continuous billing of all services to individual accounts of staying guests.

The software is complex in view of accommodation business management.

It includes:

  • RESERVATION (new reservation, reservation of individuals and/or groups, reservation of frequent guest, allocation of reservations, confirmation of reservation, forecast of occupation ratio, calculation of expected takings, reports of sold reservations by individual partners and data for commission calculations);
  • WORK WITH CUSTOMERS (use of various price lists including any foreign currency lists, check-in, check-out, automatic service billing, moving of customers, accommodation contract renewal, information on staying guests, checkup of financial limits, statistics, police registrations)
  • CASH DESK (bill make out, bill splitting, fast leave of a group, preview of accounts, accounting books, hotel's cash counter books)
  • EXCHANGE OFFICE (change of any number of foreign currencies, statements, exchange books, outputs for accounting and banking)
  • DAILY ACCOUNTS (automatic generation of costs for accommodation and services, billing of special charges/fees, update of all files and monthly and annual statistics, outputs for accounting and invoicing, print of final reports)
  • BANK OF CUSTOMERS (information on customers which could be consequently used in reservations, check-in, police registrations)

German and English versions of main menu and selected templates. Hotel management can choose from wide variety of statistical reports, including graphical presentations.
